Madoff’s Secretary Gets Lighter Sentence Due to Her ‘Unusually Small Stature’ | Compliance Week

Bernard Madoff’s secretary received a surprisingly light six-year prison sentence yesterday. The lenient sentence was due, in part, to the judge’s concerns about the 4-foot, 6-inch defendant’s “unusually small stature.”
