Assistant U.S. Attorneys Matthew L. Schwartz, Peter M. Skinner and John T. Zach from the Southern District of New York have joined law firm Boies, Schiller & Flexner as partners in its New York office. The firm announced today that the three former prosecutors will join the firm’s existing white collar and regulatory capabilities, and also help launch a new Global Investigations and White Collar Defense practice area.
Schwartz, Skinner, and Zach have worked together as federal prosecutors in the SDNY for nearly a decade. Schwartz joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office in 2005, and both he and Zach served as members of the SDNY’s Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force. Skinner served as a member of the Terrorism and International Narcotics Unit, as well as the Violent and Organized Crime Unit and the Civil Division.
