Two Sentenced in Australia Insider-Trading Case – WSJ

Calling it the worst case of insider trading brought before an Australian court, a judge on Tuesday sentenced a former government statistician and an employee of one of the nation’s biggest banks to multiyear prison terms for profiting from economic data shared illegally before its scheduled release.
