Daniel Hawke Joins Arnold & Porter in Washington, D.C.

Dan HawkeDaniel M. Hawke has joined law firm Arnold & Porter as a partner in its Washington, D.C. office. The firm announced today that Hawke will join its Securities Enforcement and Litigation practice.

Hawke joins Arnold & Porter from the SEC, where he served for 16 years in the Division of Enforcement. From January 2010 until his departure from the agency in August 2015, Hawke established and led the Division’s Market Abuse Unit and managed the work of more than 60 attorneys and industry specialists in eight SEC offices nationwide. Hawke also served as Regional Director of the SEC’s Philadelphia Regional Office from 2006-2014, leading the Commission’s examination and enforcement programs in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.
