SEC says most report wrongdoing to bosses before telling agency – MarketWatch

Scott Friestad, the associate director of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, told the audience at the Securities Enforcement Forum this month that the SEC will continue pursue cases where employees are prevented or discouraged from reporting wrongdoing by employers who threaten them with professional and personal reprisals.
