Post-Leak, Prosecutors Move to Preserve Insider Trading Indictment | New York Law Journal

An FBI agent’s systematic leaks about a grand jury investigation should not jeopardize the insider trading indictment against Las Vegas sports gambler William “Billy” Walters, prosecutors argue.

Defending its handling of admitted leaks by FBI Supervisory Special Agent David Chaves, the government has asked Southern District Judge Kevin Castel to reject a dismissal motion made by Walters’ defense team.
