Uncertainty around SFO’s future “is over”, says departing director David Green | City A.M.

The outgoing director of the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) has said the uncertainty surrounding its future is “over”, as he prepares to hand over the reins after six years in the job.

In an exit interview with City A.M., David Green said he was convinced by the assurances of home secretary Amber Rudd that the SFO “will continue to act as an independent organisation” while supporting the multi-agency response led by the National Crime Agency (NCA).
