Former SEC Trial Lawyer Haima Marlier Joins Morrison & Foerster as a Partner in New York | Morrison & Foerster

Morrison & Foerster, a leading global law firm, is pleased to announce that Haima Marlier has joined the firm in its New York office as a partner in its Securities Litigation, Securities Enforcement, and Investigations + White-Collar Defense Groups. Ms. Marlier joins Morrison & Foerster from the Enforcement Division of the New York office of the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). During her nine-year tenure at the SEC, most recently as Senior Trial Counsel, Ms. Marlier served as lead trial counsel on a number of prominent enforcement litigations and investigations. She represented the SEC in enforcement actions brought against financial service providers, issuers, and individuals in U.S. federal and administrative courts. Ms. Marlier also investigated a wide array of matters, including disclosure failures related to financial results and internal controls, offering frauds, data breaches, and insider trading. While at the SEC, she worked closely with U.S. federal prosecutors and the SEC’s specialized units focused on complex financial instruments and market abuse.
