SEC Tenure: 1989-2001. At the SEC, Greg Bruch was an extraordinarily respected Assistant Director and mentor who was prolific in the number of cases he led. He was also the first leader of the SEC’s Delinquent Filing Program. Greg left the SEC to become a Partner at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and later at Foley & Lardner. Greg also served as Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center, teaching SEC enforcement. A true SEC defense lawyer pioneer, Greg eventually opted to leave Big Law to start his own law firm, which he built into a national powerhouse.
Greg was a true fan favorite of SEC enforcement staff. His wisdom, judgment, and decency have made him a generous mentor, a trusted advisor, and a model of professionalism and integrity admired throughout both the SEC Enforcement and defense communities.
